Dale launched Dale Cohen designstudio in 2003, with 15 years of experience in the architecture, interior architecture and design field.

Upon moving to Manhattan in 1999, Dale sharpened her skills as the senior designer for Anthony Ingrao and Jamie Drake. Notably, Dale was responsible for the renovation of Gracie Mansion, where she headed the architectural design, construction documentation and site supervision of the 12,000 sq ft restoration of New York City's mayoral residence. Dale has worked on numerous high-end apartment renovations throughout Manhattan, several with highly specific programs involving art and furniture collections.

Prior to moving to New York, Dale was owner of fluxdesignstudio, a residential interior architecture and design firm in Los Angeles. In addition to her design practice, Dale served as an adjunct faculty member at UCLA and Woodbury University, in Los Angeles. She has acted as construction manager for Yale University; including the Richard Serra STACK's installation and projects for the Yale University Art Gallery, the British Art Center and the Center for Molecular Medicine.

Dale has a Masters in Architecture from Yale University and a Bachelors of Science in Architecture from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She remains an active alumni of both universities, and considers teaching and continuing education to be among the most worthwhile pursuits.
